They have been available for a little while. I sold a pair a few weeks ago and have one myself that's got a decent amount of blue in the stripes. Probably my favorite "designer" clown so far. The Tangerines do have that almost albino cool factor working for them though.

Good luck with the pair, great looking fish!

Hopefully these guys turn black as they mature and I can get them to mate. As far as how many are released to the public, ORA states that they're not released yet at full scale and only about a dozen or two pairs have been released. *shrug*

Either way, they're darn cool fish. The blue on them is awesome, I wish it showed up better in the video.

These have been around for a while. I had one, which I bought from someone on here, I think kenconnect, and he had had it for almost 1 year. They get very pretty as they age, but these should nhot be confused with the recent all black and white recently announced clowns, named "Black Snowflakes"

It's because BlackIce is not only available from ORA even though they attracts all the attention whenever they announces anything. I had my BlackIce early this year. I even bought some tank home bred Mandarin before ORA announced theirs one time I was in Florida doing a fishshow.

I agree they are cool looking fish. The white of the one that has more white will most likely turn into powdery looking textured white. The white of the one that looks like a Picasso will stay smooth, much like what it looks now. Wish they mate and you can generate yet another strain of colors.

They have the characteristic red pupils that somewhat defines albino individuals but their pectoral fins do have some black pigment to varying degrees. They aren't 100% albino.

They are paradox albinos. Happens in snakes a lot but I have seen a bunch of oscars that show black on their fins. Genetics are not fully understood but they are considered amelanistic.
