I think he is thinking of the complete black and white one.

Agreed.

Here is a link to the Black Ice Semi Snowflake...which is what he has....from June of 2010

The fish pictured below is the Black Snowflake, which is what creates the confusion (Not what BTLDreef has).

Here is his fish: ORA Black Ice Snowflake (A. ocellaris)

http://www.orafarm.com/products/fish/clowns/black-ice-snowflake.html.
See on Ora farm site it states that are still trying to breed and get consistent black ice snowflake clowns. Granted some of us have them... But they aren't as common as snowflakes at the moment.

You read that wrong.
It says, the black Snowflake clown (a DIFFERENT fish) will take more breeding. The fish in question, black ice semi snowflake is readily available. Exactly as I mentioned in my previous post.

I am not wasting anymore of my time discussing this as you are wrong! Stop talking without knowledge!

that's where i had picked them up. i had asked mike if he could get me a pair and after 2 attempts he did. tropical island, besides one other lfs carry ora livestock , usually has the better quality and price.
I just seen the black ice at Mikes place in dear park, these fish are hot. I purchased a pair of his ORA premium snowflakes, I think I am going back for the ice on tuesday. Mikes a great guy, if he doesnt have what I want, he always finds it and gets it in.

You must have forgotten about the 3 times I was told I was wrong, when in fact I was correct. The poster of the post who made the incorrect statements over and over again has since deleted them, thus, my post are now out of context. Even you deleted and/or edited some of your posts (I wonder why?) in this thread....then you have the nerve to call me out, after the fact, when I get annoyed at you and the other joker for continually giving wrong information to the community, especially after I gave links to explain where the confusion was coming from? Are you kidding me?!?!

rookie never said you are incorrect. i changed my posts once i double checked to confirm you are correct. besides this post is to show off my new clowns, not to be a fight. and you became arrogant ... since you assumed i told you that you are incorrect.
nobody told you were wrong... look at what you quoted... never once said anything negative to you.... even if i did edit my posts. soooo.... please relax.

Ok. Thank you.

Back to the topic.... A little update:
Our mature clowns seen in the video hosting the anemone which had been spawning until the big move had an unfortunate mishap. I am guessing that the female had gotten upset about the other clowns (black ice) and had killed her mate of 3+ years.
I have them in a 55g display refugium with a divider. The divider is really not that see through. I don't understand why she would beat up and kill her mate.

On a positive note: the black ice snowflake clowns are doing well now they have full rain of the tank and today just started hosting the anemone. The mature female is now in our 30gallon, I am not sure if she can be paired again.

One last thing I have noticed ... I fell these black ice snowflakEs are way too young but they started doing the weird shaking ritual I had see before with my mature paired clowns. This seems like a good sign for the future.
