You can, in theory, pair up your old clown with a new mate. Easier said than done (very tough in a small tank), but it can be done.

Your black ice will do the "shake" (smaller clown) in an attempt to show Obediance to the dominant clown. Def a good sign though.

Little update. They are now hanging out in the anemone. Paired up almost immediately. The one that has the circles on it's body now has gotten much darker. That is also is or is going to be the female. Now I just have to fatten them up and hopefully In a few years they breed. As far our original oscellaris female clown, we placed her back in the main reef tank and is enjoying her single life from what it looks like.

Thanks rookie. I feel bad for her too. We have had her for 4 years. Most stores sell clowns as babies so I need to find one super healthy to be able to handle her wrath. I have also read they usually don't take to a new mate very easily. I would hate to have another clown fish get killed by "the black widow" lol.

UPDATE:
both are doing very well. you can definitely see the color change in both. the female is almost completely black now. in the last picture you can see the blue rim on the white markings..... its really hard to capture on camera.
