Already tested, I have a 120 gallon sump, my return sections I'm guestimating holds about 8 gallons, I took 5 out and pump was more than ok

I can drain alot from mine also. 5 gallons would not be a problem for me.

Personally I don't like that one just because the way of measuring water isn't very precise, you're just taking a wild guess as to how long it takes a pump to fill up a bucket. The way I plan on doing it should be just as safe as a Genesis system. I just need to find a water drum and I can be on my way with this project

What size. Guy on craigslist is selling 55 gallon white drums (says food quality) for 30 bucks i think.
