Yesterdays shipment was a bad batch. Only 50% made the trip. Supplier apologies and promises to re-send new fish for Monday of next week. All of the smaller fishes are healthy. Unfortunately, the show size fishes did not make it. I will post pics later.. Sorry for any inconvenience

Poor Fishies, that really sucks. So that's about 350 dead fishies. Watch out they might put up a website against you soon, LOL.

Hope your next batch is better. I highly recommend ordering in smaller batches though, 700 just sounds crazy! Good Luck!

Really? I will rephrase, how many brick and mortar stores "take the initative" to come to this site and let you know that they have a shipment coming in.

2 out of 2...

I'm not going to hijack this thread any further than this reply. But I can think of at least a dozen stores that I frequent that don't bother ever showing up on any hobby forum, let alone this one and that is not held against them. Would you rather Coral Factory/Seavision, not post at all.

Reply as you will, and take it for what its worth.

And I do appreciate their being open about the trouble with the shipment. In another store, you would go and just look at what's in the tank - not knowing what the survival rate of the shipment was, and if it's worth it to let the fish acclimate in the store's tank for a few days.

Thanks Matt.

Did their tanks looked full with what they got in? They were pretty empty when I stopped by on Sunday.

From what I gather, they get their shipment in late on Mondays. They seem to be doing realtively good buisness, so by Sunday they are starting to get tapped out. They didn't have much in stock when I was there on Monday, when I stopped in on Tuesday they had a lot of fish.
