Sarah, you apparently spoke to someone there that did not know what they were talking about. Rich does have new people that don't know to much. I speak to Parnell when I have questions. I don't know who you spoke with, I would definitely speak to the owner (Rich). He should make this right. And if he doesn't then I would report that here too.
Rich, if your reading this? You need to set this write. Your sales person goofed.
Sarah, what does the package say? Did the sales person read the package?
I purchased a magnet glass cleaner/thermometer from Premium Aquatics that I thought floated simply because I didn't read all of the info on the package. I read as far as "You'll never get your hands wet", guess what? It doesn't float, it sinks in an upright position. And if I had a BB tank then I could just let it find it's way back to the other piece. So when it comes apart I have to stick my hand in to retrieve it cause I don't want the darn thing picking up sand on it's way.
And of course it is every individuals prerogative to shop whereever they please. I have reported negatively against certain places on this board some have agreed with me, and others have disagreed. That is live. I don't hold it against anyone that has a difference of opinion with me. Besides, if the place is that bad eventually others will see it as well.
And I would hope that as we grow older we become wiser, and realize that not everyone has to agree with us.
Also, as old as I am I still remember that it was as a child that if any friend had an issue with another we had to choose sides. But we are adults now. For the most part any way, we do have some children here(and I mean children[minors]).
Best of luck Sarah, my magnet was $40, at least is good at cleaning glass & it is an easy to read thermometer.
