I stopped by this store today and it looks like it is gonna be really nice. they dont have a lot of stock in yet, but they are not officially open yet. I talked with Rich over there, they have frag tanks and a lot of tanks dedicated to fish, stony and soft corals and it looks what might be a good selection of quality equipment.
They are not hard to get to from Manhattan, just take a N or W to Astoria Blv, and you walk a couple of blocks down Hoyt Ave. It will take you about 20 Minutes from Midtwon. If your driving they are basicly located at the base of the trioborough bridge, where the BQE and the GCP end.

Good looking store. They said they are expecting to get some freshwater shipment Monday and I think corals and/or marine fish on Tuesday. They're still putting the finishing touches on most stuff.

Just got back from the store. I purchased a beautiful frogspawn with 5 heads for a great price. Beautiful store!!! Both Mike and Rich were very helpful and friendly.

I stopped by the store once again and had an opportunity to talk with Mike, and take a further look around.
They are starting to get some livestock in, thay had a selection of clams (crocea I beleive)with very competitve prices, and some colonies and frags of various sps. A wole lot of LPS and a some softies. They didn't have to much fish, a lot of the basics, as well as some nice looking wrasses and a good amount of cleaner crew and other inverts. He was telling me that the tanks are still cycling to some extent, so they can't overstock their display tanks. Furthermore, they have more tanks in their basement, where they intend to quarantine the fish before they go up for sale.
It looks like that when they have everything up and running, this will be a very nice store.

Quite honestly, the healthiest fish I have ever seen, along with the cheapest prices as well, this ones worth it!

Stopped by the store yesturday. Not much left since they said much of the stock had already been sold. I did pick up a midas blenny that is doing well. Already found a home near the front of the tank. Next shipment is this Sunday. They also plan on having a frag tank for sps and other less common corals. Looks like its going to be a nice place to shop.
