I am so envious of all your encrusting corals! Got any tips for success?

Actually, I have a lot more varieties (Superman, Rainbow, Shamrock, Copps, Seasons Greetings) growing. I just posted the largest ones. But to answer your question, I usually don't glue my frags until I find a spot that they seem happy with. So I may move a frag several times until I get the best light and flow for a particular frag. Which is why I almost never buy colonies.

Love the CopperBand Jim. How's he holding up ?

With fish, my theory is, if they don't eat pellets I don't want them. Lol.

Paulie, he's actually great. Been in the tank since it first cycled. Went against common sense, but I figured he would have no competition for food. He's right in there duking it out with my tangs for food.

I never tried pellets, been thinking about it though.

I personaly love that fish and tried keeping one before with no luck. I just couldn't get him to eat. But it's good to hear he's doing well in your tank. That gives me some hope and maybe some day I can find one already eating pellets (I can only dream of such a thing).
Btw, pellets is all I feed my reef. It works wonders for me, noticed difference in my animals in a couple of weeks. :inlove:
