Ya proven heat and proven electric bill also lol
How do you deal with them? I'm asking only because I have only ever had LEDs and curious.
Are Halides really that bad as far as heat & added cost?
Do you have to run a chiller?
I was thinking about going MH on another tank but don't want to go backwards.

Appreciat your feed back ;)
Thanks man

Mike, I switched to mh about 4-5 months ago from the 8 bulb ati sunpower t5 fixture, couldn't be more happier, tank goes up only about 2.5 degrees which is about .5 degree more than with the t5's, the electric is negligible as I only run them for 5 hours, the t5 ran for about 8. I'm using the lumenbrite reflector which I have mounted about 16" awl. Hth

I love my halides. I run them 8 hours a day. I don't use a chiller. Tank normally stays around 78-80 in the summer.
I have the wp20 on my 30g frag tank. Man that thing can create any type of wave your looking to create. Very impressed with it.
