Thank you for the offer Tom! You are a dear. I am waiting on someone selling a skimmer as I type. If it falls through I just might have to take you up on the loaner.;)

Still have not heard back from the manufacturer of the Sedra Pumps.:( It is now a full 24 hours since I left message on their voice mail. Not very good customer service at all......

I did hear back from the Sedra pump manufacturer. I'm suppose to send it back to them for a fix or replacement.

Got home from 39th. Anniversary Lunch, and found my present sitting on my porch!:)

Why did you leave the skimmer in a 20g with vinegar? Was the skimmer used or new and you were breaking the skimmer in?

Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Reefs

I see Rob already answered the question.;) But yes it is a brand new skimmer so I needed to remove any oils, and what ever other stuff may have been in it.;)

Angelo skimmers have oils and stuff in them so u soak it in vinegar so that it cleans it off. Why did u think? She was making a soup? Lol
LOL

Awilda that's a lot of skimmate holy crap! I gather u like ur NEW skimmer? Nice pics too.
Yes it is, especially for a fairly new skimmer which I finally got it dialed in properly Tuesday night.:) You bet!! I like it even more then my old Turboflotor 1000 Multi which I loved...

Vinegar soup hmmm LOL

Yup, Vinegar soup for diner.lol

tank's looking great. i miss you guys!
Thanks for the kind words Doug. You've been missed too.

I also put my brain to work, and built me a small closet with shelves to hide all my reefing supplies that were sitting on top of an old night stand.;) Cabinet is 16" X 18" X 58". It is a cheapie cabinet, but since all the stuff I needed to hide is all light weight it worked. What I am most proud of is the fact that I made it with barely any tools. All I have is a circular saw, and a failing drill.;)
Cabinet is that tall black box next to the tank.

Very sorry to hear of your loss Awilda. I also lost most of the fish and several colonies :-(. They say things happen for a reason, so lets try to look at this situation and make the best of it. Good luck with everything and I still have some coral I can give you whenever you decide to come back. Lmk
