My new addition!!!

I just purchased a small Majestic Angel for my tank. After a brief initiation by my Flame Angel the Majestic is eating. Here are a few pics of him, hope to get better ones soon:

Warren,

Can you post some pics of your 120's plumbing? Thanks

-Steve

Steve,
You, Rich & I can start our own "Glass Cages 120g tank" club!

I need to take some newer pics but for now I have some older pics of the back where most of the plumbing is. The 1.5" closed loop drains lead down to a Reeflo Dart and is pumped back up through a OM 4-Way branching into four 1" pipes going up and over the tank. The over flow has dual 1.5" Dursos that drain into a 30g long glass tank fitted with a pair of Berlin sock holders, some baffles for any residual bubbles. It's pumped back up with an Amp2100, branched to two Sea Swirls and also tee'd off to my AquaC skimmer. One of the branches goes through a PCI 1/4 hp chiller before reaching a Sea Swirl.

Pecan you should start your own thread man detailing your tank with focus on plumbing, which yours is exemplary. Too many people have know idea how to plumb a tank correctly.

Steve,

I like to have dibs when you need to get rid of your majestic angle .

When did you find it? I am looking for one.

I just got him from fishtown yesterday. They had many small ones, some for less then $60. He has been a model citizen, but after all its only been a day... Let you know when he turns evil. :)

Thanks Warren for putting my setup to shame. ;)

Aw come on Steve,

I can think of at least 4 reasons why your tank is nicer than mine:

1) You have a Jonathan Hale's original designed cabinet. (I just have the crappy Glass Cages stand)

2) You were smarter than me in terms of the overflow box, mine is humungo, (I asked for a overflow that can house two 1.5" Durso drainpipes, it measures 8'x14') Pierce and Rich can attest to this!

3) Your tank is way more energy efficient by running Tunzes and a lower flow return to compliment your skimmer.

4) You have an H&S skimmer period!

I liked what Pierce did with his closed loop on the 150g (ah, hindsight!), he plumbed a Amp3000 branched to 4 overhead returns with 2 in the front corner but for the back, he ran them down to the bottom as a slotted or drilled horizontal pipes to blow detritus out.
