Thanks guys. This is not a brand new tank. I had this for two years. Never have algae problems. I don't use clorox or Mr. clean. I did use the skimmer for a month. I stopped it because the water too clean to skim. I do the same as other reefers does. The only difference are I have a canister with Poly filter and carbon, filter pad in the overflow box, I believe mechanical filtration (old school). feed the fishes with pellets with garlic (once a day), no dead spots in the tank which mean water flow everywhere, I even have a powerhead in the back and bottom of the tank, 15 gallons water every week. the rowa really make it cleaner after I use it.

These are my kinds of secrets. It might not work with other people. I don't think I have 50 kinds of acans and not even a rainbow. Is anybody spare me one?

Ok next question. How come you have no coraline on your glass? Do you always scrap it off?

i don't have that much of coraline from day one. don't know why. maybe the way i treat the tank. i use the magfloat to clean where i can reach every few days and scrap a little on the back of the tank every two weeks.

keep it up I like having a clean tank as well.... MR here is someone who is in love with his tank (dun worry its not a bad thing) I love my tank 2. having a clean tank and a tank like yours must feel great. wat a great accomplishment.

Okay someone has to hate on this beautiful tank... I think I know the secret...

You just put fish in, in the tank in the last 2 months... That's how you don't have a skimmer on this tank????? Maybe,,, Maybe not ??? Or maybe you just have the time to scrap algae and do water changes religiously(no life)..Just kidding don't get mad.... Making you the perfect hobbiest... I take my hat off to you either way.. Nice tank...
