Tank Thread New Start IM 150 EXT

Finally went big, got me a IM 150 EXT can’t wait to have it all set up and running. Got it while they had a 50% sale at the end of the year..

Gonna have a Red Sea RSK 900 and a couple of mp40s for flow. Made a manifold myself to attach some reactors. Tank came with the IM rs39 sump and mighty jet pump included, which they forgot to ship with the tank but it’s coming. Stand wasn’t too bad to build, think it looks good. Thanks for great neighbor who helped me bring it down to basement, suction cup handles from amazon were also very helpful.

Next is putting salt in, sand, making aquascape and transferring old tank contents, hopefully cycling won’t be too much of an issue, old tank is about 50 gallons has been running for a couple of years. Gonna need a light maybe two not sure, currently have a gen 3 radion that I’ll be using

Cycling now. Still putting some rockscape together. Pissed a couple of scratches while bringing it down, but it is a beautiful tank

Cycle finally seems to be done, nitrites finally came down to 0. Mounted lighting to see how they look. Spotted Hawk in there seems to be doing fine
