haha the worms are living the life! i turn off the lights when i give the tank a little food for my hitchhikers and they all pop out and crawl all over.
i should get my conch a treadmill because its done 2 laps around the rim of my tank since 3 pm! not bad for a mollusk! will she settle down abit?

What is the address of the store? Also, how much are they charging for the 34 gal Red Sea tank? I was just looking at one for $799 in Murray Hill.
Any help would be apprciated.

IMO softies and lps are alot cooler than sps. the t5's claim to be good enough for sps but i dont trust them. im not really thinking about that right now. i have to focus on getting a RO/DI unit and a refractometer

Everywhere I look I can only find this tank with PC lights not T5. Did they upgrade the lighting for you?

i dont think so chief. it says it has t5's in the manual. maybe the other places have ripped u off by taking out the stock lighting
i got mine pre-assembled and the price of the tank was equivalent to the price of the tank and the stand together online. that may be a reason for the "upgraded" lighting. im glad that i dont have to upgrade anything with the setup its really great!

i dont have the carbon or biomedia in there under the pumps. the guy said to leave out the ceramic cylinders and put in the carbon after my tank cycles. since my tank doesnt seem to be cycling, should i add the carbon?

what do the parameters read and how long has it been running? since you are using cured live rock, live sand and live water, i think you may have taken the easy way out ;) your reef may only go through a mini cycle
.. you prob should just wait for it to mature now.
