just a hello from a new reefer! my tank too

hey guys at mr.com, i am usually active over on n-r.com, but came across this on an invite to the frag swap, which i will be attending! so just wanted to say hey and post some tank pics as well. ive only been reefing for about 6 months, but have been researching practices for about 2 1/2 years.

i finally set up a 20L nano, and its lookin pretty good, besides my hair algae war . it also has a 10g fuge/sump connected by a mag3, and a closed loop powered by a mag7. the lighting is a 150w hamilton reefstar w/ a phoenix 14k bulb. lotta anguish went toward this tank, but im proud to say it doesnt leak! (at least didnt leak! knock on wood). also has 20lbs lr in the display tank, with 3 lbs rubble in the fuge, along with 25 lbs live sand total. so here are some pics (in chronological order)!

Cool tank, I have to say that is an interesting plumbing design. How do you change the MAG out for a replacement if it fails?

welcome to mr.you got a nice setup there and you took some nice pics,all your livestock looks good,but i must say your scooter blenny looks thin.i dont know if he eats frozen foods but there will never be enough pods for him and that 6 line,plus you dont have enough lr.good luck though everything else looks great.

thanks all o rstimeout if you notice the current pics have a background on . Umm, if the mag fails or something happens, locline outlets come out of the water and a screw in plug is placed in the intake bulkhead. i was thinking ball valves, but this is simpler and not a pita.

deelucky i really think hes skinny too, but he seems to eat frozen mysis regularly, although not voraciously. if he doesnt improve in a couple weeks or so i may have to give him up. he seems to swim around up near the surface a lot, almost contemplating suicide . if he will eat mysis, do u think there is a chance that he will become fuller?

haha the background is stick on but i made it tape on, as you can see it didnt exactly fit right so i did a little splice job, looks like $hit but better than nothing.
