New addition. This is a very difficult fish to keep. At the moment, the only food it ill eat is live sponge. Hopefully I can work some magic and get it on other foods. This fish has also been known to nuke entire systems when stressed.

Dom? If any of the fish in that tank needs to be moved out quickly, how would you do it?

I have several other tanks I can move fish into. Frankly moving fish wouldn't really be a concern. They would all be dead most likely by the time I grabbed a net based on what I've read. Let's hope I do not have to go through that :) Hopefully the research I've done and the fish I have work out as planned.

Hi Domboski
So its eating live sponge...do you have images of that?

What sponge species is it your feeding to the Ostracion whitleyi?

Do you have pictures of that sponge?

Is it a sponge already existing in the tank or do you bring it in?

This fish has also been known to nuke entire systems when stressed.
ostracitoxin is the poison...some more about it...
