so what grows at the top of the colums so close to the light?
I don't know what it's called but the turbo snails love it.
they come by once a week and clear off the rocks like street sweepers :)

pedro, there are 3 se xm10K's across the tank, on the right and left side are mini luminarcs, the middle one is just in a plain spider reflector.

crox, thanks, that's it for now lol, I have to work on getting the white balance correct, the shots are not looking good color wise at all :irked:

I tried taking some pics today and the damn radiums just wreak havoc on WB. I just gave up! All that while i was using my expodisc. I had better WB when i had my AB's.

I like your shallow sandbed, kinda looks nice like that.

I like the xm's in person they look great.
in all my pics the color is either coming out dull, or has a strange oversaturated look. the close up shots are okay, but the camera can't deal with the FTS. I have a feeling it's going to take some testing to get a custom WB that works :sigh:

Randy, I do not have any actinics right now, I need to hook them up.

Damn, i wonder who the unknown reefer was. I'm surprised it's not dead. if it made it through that, it should do well in your tank. Poor clammie.
