I just got home today and had to scrape a silly amount of coraline off the front glass. I took some pics and will edit them soon.
for now enjoy this pic of an orchid :irked:
I'm not liking the present rock work, I have to thin it out some.
It does not look great to me in person, and in photos I really don't like it.
So till I get that done I'll show some of the things on the bottom.
first the house of fish flame angel, he's grown in the month that I got him.
I Got Zoo's ! there are some I got from Leslie. I have a bunch of them all over the bottom, but they are hard to photograph. I'll be adding some more soon. I've grown to like them now :theyareon
little piece of undata
This is what I have left of my poor tort colony.
The little frags have encrusted and are growing now.
For the longest time they were in shock and did nothing.
Jonathan, you are gifted my friend. Those shots are amazing. I could shoot 100 shots of a fish and all I'd find in the final pic (if I was LUCKY) would be the tail fin :sad2:
Thanks for sharing..........but I agree with Pedro.....
We want da pillar. WE WANT DA PILLAR. WE WANT DA PILLAR!!
okay this is a bit better. I spent a few hours yesterday taking out some rocks and opening up the coral a bit. It still needs some fixing, but for now I'm going to give the frags time to grow. there's still a way to go to get some of the colonies to color up, I'll be adding some rowas soon in a reactor.
the shot below is three merged together in photoshop. they look good, but at the point where the smaller clam meets the larger clam things got kind of fuzzy. there is a lot more going on in that area. there are some ledges coming out, the acros you see there are floating above the bottom, it looks cool in person, the head on photos can't get the depth that's happening.
