Greg, loving the moonlights. Put the strips on the ceiling and you can't beat the effect man. Nice side effect is the entire basement glows blue haha

I'm getting new growth on my SPS in this tank already which is nice to see. Everything is settling in nicely. Will post some pics later today.

Ok so I owe you guys some pics. Have to take them tonight, corals are doing great, colors getting better by the day and growth is pretty impressive so far. Have a purple efflo that I got as a brown out that's developing some really nice color on the body and is encrusting nicely.

I intended to set up my halides over this tank, but have decided to let the LED's run through the end of the year before I do anything. I have 2 evergrows and 2 Kessils over the tank. Give's me a nice crisp white light but colors pop. Will try to capture some of the tonight.

Thinking of making the switch from LED to 3 halide pendants. 2 icecap reflectors in the front and one lumenbright in the back center. Using the kessils for just wake up and wind down at night.

Bulbs would be 14k Phoenix, no supplementation. Thoughts?

So I got those halides up! Running 2 * 250watt Phonenix 14k. Will eventually go 400 watt radium once the tank grows in some more, I'm thinking on the 1 year anniversary.

Things have been doing great, aside from losing all my fish except for a purple tang and percula clown. Tank got hit with velvet and lost about 15 fish over a few days. That was about a month ago, added a blue throat trigger paid and melanurus wrasse about 2 weeks ago and they're doing great.

I did have a population explosion of red planaria, honestly they haven't affected anything. Happened after all my fish kicked the bucket, but the numbers are slowly going down. Once I get some more fish in there, it'll go back to a normal population.
