:yo: This is the live feed from Pratt:

7:30 am - Everyone is making an appearance at ground zero.

In Attendance:
Randy :duh:
Russ (master)
Jim (house)
Mike (Slama)
Frank (fry - electrician extraordinaire)
Dave (daceman)
Dave (spykes)
Brett (bad coffee)
Eric (digitalreefer)
Krisen (nano dude)

7:35 We siphoned out about 100 gallons of tank water into a couple of holding bins for some of Randy's massive colonies.

Mike figured he'd teach everyone how to siphon without getting a lung full of saltwater........after he spit out the lung full of saltwater :lol2: we all agreed his 'system' worked great :biglaugh:

More to follow.

We got all coral colonies out. I'd say we're looking at about 14,503 frags!

The fish are all in buckets swimming with the corals. Anemones are out. Clams are enormous and open in the buckets.

Sandbed is removed.
Frank is working his masterful skills on the electric.

Lights are moved to Randy's other reef. We'll be moving the lights from that tank to the new tank until a total replacement is setup.

Hopefully we'll find a cable to upload the pix Brett is taking.

Updates to follow.

The loss of 95% of this encrusting green pavona was not fun. Lots of frags for the crew though :)

Next you can see the old tank with Brett.

Evidence that the bucketed corals are doing ok.

Many guys are working hard on this project - but if we had to vote, I would say Fry (Frank) worked the hardest and man, what a job he did on the electrical work - unbelievable, Frank - my hat goes off to you.

It was great to see everyone. We all worked all day (except Kasei who decided to show up at lunch)
The thing is up and running, and is really nice.
Josh:
"currently copying picture 275 of 394"

and that's just the first 1gig card that's full. I'll be posting a couple, then giving copies to randy to make the official thread.

Frank, a beautiful, well crafted piece of work. You can do electrical work for me anytime.

Everybody (almost ahem) worked real hard and did a great job.
Mike, next time leave those garbage bags where they belong
Eric, great fishing expedition.
Eugene, looking forward to seeing pix of the Arc de Triomphe :lol2:
Randy, thanks for the Pavona and pizza (great combination)
Kasei, next philanthropic project will be a Dremel diamond wheel for you! :lol2:
Brett, you know the pic, please keep it to yourself (pretty please) :(

Had fun everyone. Thanks for a great day.
