To tell the truth I wanted to use the black pond foam but couldnt find it locally and I wasnt at a point to wait for it in the mail. I wasnt doing the background until last minute I found the egg-crate and I figured screw it let me try it out and see how it looks. When I liked the way it looked I was happy the way it came out and used it :)

Nick you probably have the most expensive tank that I know of. You better make the inside rock just as much as the out ;) Keep us posted on the dialyseas unit.

Well I got the dialyseas up and running. It was s very simple problem I didnt realize. BUT this thing rocks !!!!! See I thought it did traditional water changes but id doest. What it does it filter the water of PO4 Nitrates ammonia and nitrites. Heres how it did today .....
Yesterday my PO4 was .16 after it filtering 10g of my water throughout the day its at .10. I tested the water coming back into the tank id it was .04. My nitrates were at 2 now there at 1. This thing is insane. I lowered my salinity today to 1.022 and it brought it back up to 1.025 where I had it set to be at. I will have it set to do 2.5 g WC a day when I have the tank at its best. Right now because there only fish in the tank I am gonna just run it untill my PO$'s are down to .03.

I told you to think of it as a RO system for your actual tank. It doesn't change water exactly. It filters your tank water through a membrane and makes waste water (loaded with PO4, NO3, ammonia, etc.) The good, clean water goes back to the tank. Then it mixes new water to make up for the waste. Supposedly, a 200 gallon bucket of salt will be good enough for around 250 gallons because of the way it functions...
Glad you're the one who researched it for 3 years and I bought it on an impulse buy. How many GPD are you going to run. I'm planning 1 to 2 a day.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn! For that price you can set up another 120. Nick, your tank is not going to have a single paticle of free floating waste in the water with that thing and the BBKing. Where are you going to get your nutrients?

lol LOts and Lots of Fish I always had few fish and hated that and now beytween the dialyseas BK and zeo i should have NO problem having the fish I want. I am extremely happy in purchasing this and its only one day. I know can say there is something I bought better then My BK. I might have top sell the BK and downgrade it is too big for my tank to begin with but now forget about it

Ok a update I have to get more salt I lowered the dialyseas down to 2.5g a mday about 5 days ago which I shouldnt of done I have to do a BIG WC I have to get my PO4 down asap I had a rise again when I put in 24 turbos and they all died within a few hours due to poor shipping. I tested and saw a rise in the PO4 so I took alot apart and took them out. My water cleared up alot overnight after doing so. Im hoping to get my PO4 down to .05 in a week or two since I have to get my sps out of Jims tank very soon. I might have to put them into someone elses systeme for a bit if things are not ready which sucks I miss my sps lol

Ok well heres another update I downsized my drain from 2 inch w/ a ballvalve to a 3/4 w/ a gate valve. Doing this cut down on ALOT of noise. Then today I fine tuned it and it is completly silent. I also finally received my 6ft extension for my icecap ballast and new wiring harness and connected my T5's. iam gonna keep my MH's off until I need them for my corals and use just the T5's until then. All that is left is for my red T5's to come in the mail to hook up my Lighthouse controller to the internet and to finish the molding around the sides of the tank. Hopefully by friday that all will be done which I dont see why it wouldnt be. I have salt on the way and will be doing a 20g WC tomorrow and another on Friday. I am hoping once they are done and my dead turbos that are unreachable are gone the PO4's will be down some to atleast .09 and then 3 more WC's next week. I will repost on friday what my readings are. :)
