Almost done with the last twin

Here are some shots, i ended up going with another rapid led bulb instead due to time issues. I been sharing one bulb for about two weeks. Had me running home to switch the bulb from one tank to the other. But i am pretty happy with this bulb and think im keeping it for a while.

Here are the main arteries of my twins

everything came out great except for check valve i used. I think it will give in because i seen what looks like a small metal spring that triggers it. However, i did find a better solution to this but will need sometime before i purchase this check valve and i think it will work much better and last much longer. Its the price thats a killer...

But all in all everything came out great, no leaks!! I still have alot of work to do. Need to cover the pvc and the sump. I have a great idea for the pvc's but not sharing that now; for the sump i will be using some finished wood.

So without anymore typing here are plumbing pics!!

Added a nano frag rack (DIY)

Another update: So if you notice in the first few pics of my reef twin setup i had a corner rack that was used by my old tank. This made the tank look very packed and just didnt look good. But i needed a rack to keep my fresh cut frags and i didnt want them on the sand bed. So i customized alittle frag rack to right over my rock work. I think its currently holding about 8 frags...

I used white aggcrate from homedepot (last row at the end in building supplies, dont ask them just go) and cut it with cutting pliers to my liking. Then i used small zipties to attach the suction cups (99 cents store) to the egg crate. This was all a 2min job and it looks great!!

Here are some materials i used:

Here are some shots of the new look...
