No problem, just run the waste discharge from the RO unit to the drain. The termination point of the waste line will be below the elevation of the RO unit and there is no fitting or reason for there to be any back pressure from the waste line.

I agree with Russ, as long as your waste line is below the RO unit there is no problem

Tony do you have a french drain around the house that runs by where you want to place the RODI unit. If so you can dump it in there.

Did a 10 gallon water change yesterday.

So do u guys think this saturday to add 3 blue chromis would be good. I will check levels prob tonite and on wed. Just to ensure everything is goin good

Finally got around to getting the cans hooked up to the rodi in the basement

You don't have a float valve on the RO??? I would def get one if I were you. Don't want to forget the water on in the basement and overflow! I like that the other container has the bulkhead out of the side. I may have to do that.

Yea everytime i turn on the rodi unit i set my alarm to check on it . I heard tge float valves suck

They both have the bulkheads n pipes

Get a spectra pure float valve shut off kit. They work great.

Get the kit if u don't already have the automatic shut off and check valve

Stay away from the Kent ones

can 2 of them be set up where if one tub is full then the other one starts to fill up and when that one gets filled it shuts off completely?

2 float valves. 1 shutoff kit. Once the second float closes. The back pressure to the shut off valve will shut down the RO.

Same here i have high pressure in my house so i wouldnt trust the float valve.

Ok so far fish are doing excellent munching on the flakes i give them.

Gonna order some brine or mysis shrimp prob mysis frozen.

Gonna check levels tom. To see where im at. Hopefully they are good so i can add more fish this saturday. Was thinking the 3 blue green chromis and maybe a royal gramma if they have one. They are small fish so it should be ok...
