Correct me if I’m wrong but tenuis don’t look as nice from the front of the display as it does from the top.
My Walt Disney for example,
looks so much better from the top. Looks like you need top view to appreciate the color.

Not only Tenuis but most corals looks way better from top than front.

That’s a good point, but I’ve seen Bob’s tank in person and it looks great from any angle lol. Jammed packed with sps colonies!

The point comes from a video I saw where the guy says that you really need to look from the top to be available to see all color. I seen Bob’s tank in pictures and looks fantastic, don’t get me wrong please.
I don’t have colonys just yet so I can’t say it’s true or not.

im guessing is due to having no glass obstructing the view and the refection angle of the lighting is diff from the top down.

What's your secret to success? What do you think, besides stability in parameters, has given you the most success?

i’m not sure if i would call it success
i had ups and downs too
but i really think it just takes time to mature
i was using fuge with cheato, biopellets, nopox, phosban
but one day the tank stopped needing anything
now i just use protein skimmer and water changes which i’m lazy about doing too
also try not to touch the tank ( hands out of the tank)
plus learn from the gurus on line and in person
