I'am in Smithtown and traveled to Pratt univ. for a frag swap!!! I'm sure there are a bunch of people here that could car pool together out here and if they are worried about the gas$$$ I will fill up 1 car's fuel tank loaded of reefers I will meet them at at gas station anywhere in Qns,Bklyn, or long island nassau...It's the least I can do because I have a heart...Also whoever has the BBQ at there house please let me give a hand!!!Godbless Jay..

You KNOW I'm all in for giving. Jer man, great thing your doing. I really hope some sort of thread or event or whatever it is you do helps. I'm sure it's not going to be enough dramatically help, but hey, a few hundred, few thousand, whatever it is, if we can raise something, let's do this and try to make a little dent in the amount. Everyone is always in for giving. It's horrible circumstances, and our family here I'm sure is willing to help.

I also agree, don't sell the set up. Sale equipment. Understandable to break it down, saving on fish food, electric, ect... But actual equipment you should hold on to and lets see what we all can come up with.

And jer, tell bobby ryans hoping all the best it all works out well and keep your head up. My condolences...

I have just had a chance to log in and spent the better part of 5 minutes sitting here crying. Now that I am composed enough to type words CANNOT express how much you guys mean to my wife and I and we haven't even met half of you. You have ALL managed to turn her impression of internet forum members around and that WAS NOT an easy thing to do. You are ALL TRULY SPECIAL PEOPLE. Amazing in todays day and age.

I want to take a minute and let everybody know that as much as what you guys are trying to do is appreciated beyond words PLEASE hold off until we have a better idea of whats actually going to be the course of treatment. I was on the phone for the last 45 minutes with one of the consulting doctors and he feels based on what he has seen right now that there may be a good chance that the blood thinner route may work. We will have a much better idea by late Friday hopefully. The current thinking is to try low molecular weight heparin and/or warfarin to thin the clot and monitor the levels in his blood with routine blood work so that they don't cause him to internally bleed. They have assured us it is a safe, first stage treatment. Still has me on edge though. PLEASE understand it is not that I don't appreciate what you guys are trying to do. I can't express that enough. I just don't want to take something that may not be needed. And my pride plays a little part in it also.

I will keep everyone posted either by my own posts or through Jeremy. And seeing as we are on the subject of him I cannot tell you how incredible a person he is. He may twist nipples and SERIOUSLY break B**** but you'd be HARD pressed to find a better person. Thanks buddy!

On the Autism side my wife is a Coordinator of Special Education for a district on Long Island which has made that side of the issues a little easier but I do appreciate all the offers.

I am trying to go through all the PM's. PLEASE bear with me. I will answer all and get this figured out.
