ecdragonz said he feed his everyday with Mysis shrimp. Dendro is a non-photosynthetic coral. It need to be fed in our tank. Some people feed a lot for their fish in their large tank, and there are usually enough left over floating around in the water for them to catch. But according to them, they do not grow very fast if you do not target feed them.
In nature, they eat continuously by catching zooplankton. Since I have tons of pods all crawling on my rocks, I'll see if I can catch him eating the pods, and likely do not have to feed it.
Wow! How nice! Mine fell out from the plug on my way home. The glue on mine probably wasn't even dried yet. Yours might have been cut for awhile and already started coming out in his frag tank.
I have to buy a new glue. The super glue I have is pissing me off.I tried a new glue.I don't like it.i am going back to my normal glue that holds better.
Still have some if any one else wants any.
i have a friend that is breaking down his tank and he has purple dendros that I might be getting.there really nice.he has two med colonies I might put one in my tank and brake the other we will see.i should be getting all his corals.so I should have a lots to offer.
At the end of the video, you can see it kind of "fully" extended. Is that the most it can extend? It doesn't look like the Dendro pictures I see on the internet. Or is it because this is just a young Dendro?
Mine are dong the same thing.i think it was the stress of braking them up.they will start to open more and more. You even got the little guy on the side to eat.thats good.As long as there eating there good.As they settle in they will open more and more and get bigger.
