Alright here is my prob!
I had recently purchased 2 percula clowns, 1 bi-color blenny, 2 firefish from saltwater.com. the first day was just fine i acclimated them in about 3 hours time by dripping my tank water into a seperate 20Gal. holding this little guys. i put them into the tank with lights off for a day. lights came on the second day at set time and tried feeding a little brine shrimp and pellet food. they did not eat much as expected. the only one who showed thier faces was the 2 clowns(sticking together), bi-color blenny(found a home), and 1 firefish who looked like he had a rough night in his new home, he was a little beat up on the head. this being the 3rd day now with the tanks new inhabitants i am starting to see some strange behavior from one of my clowns. he looks like he got beat up also (little head wounds) and he is breathing rapidly and now hiding in the back of the tank. the firefish are M.I.A, only 1 clown and the bi-color blenny are the one's who are taking this new home in with out any problems.
the 55G tank has been up and running for 3 months now. i cycled it out with a 110 lbs. of live rock and added a 3in sand bed. the only additives i have been using are kent essiential elements, and fiji gold live rock and coral suppliement for stabilizing p.h and calcium
