Update pic of tank on NP pellets

So far, I'm running NPXBioplastics for a week and the redox has gone from 390 to 290. The flow through the reactor is tumbling the pellets well but something is going on that is definitely lowering the redox.

Sounds like the pellets are breaking down??

Ok what size tank and did you start with a low amount of pellets and how long has it been running

Just took the pellets off line there dropping my alk to fast came home and most of my sps were faded in color dkh was at 5.4 got it back up to 8.5 and took the pellets off line . going back to fuge and gfo MB7 and biofuel

I'll say one thing about this method, I've never seen anything grow bacteria this fast at our temperatures.

yeah, I think i'm gonna drop my bio-pellets also. Can I just pull them off ? I'm still running carbon an gfo. My cheato hasn't decreased cause i keep my fuge lite on 24 hours.

Will never buy a calcium reactor there more of a problem then the pellets . Theres to many thing that can go wrong with a calcium reactor . Had one and will never buy one again
