What camera should I get?

As the title says, what camera should I get? I don't want to spend a crazy amount on a camera, I just want an SLR camera that can take good pictures of my polyps and be able to see small details while capturing the colors of the tank.
So what should I look at?

You'll probably need to spend about $3000+ on lenses, a used d90 body will go for about $700... OR you could spend just under $300and get a ,,,,,,,,
