What camera should I get?

bob1000 do you think the canon sx110is is better than the canon d-30 i have the d-30 but cant seam to take pictures as good as yours im actually thinking of dumping the d-30 and getting the 110

The SX120 IS newer version is $9 more at J&R.

Difference:
SX110-9MP CCD sensor with DigicIII processor, the CCD sensor is 1/2.3 inch
SX120-10MP CCD sensor with Digic4 processor, the CCD sensor is 1/2.5 inch

That new camera hasn't changed much but has some new features, I'd love to see one of these in action,,lol.. I'll have to check that one out..

Checked the 120is out today don't buy it.. The made up for all the mistakes that they made in the 110 being up there with the slr cameras.. The macro has to be farther away making shot not as close up, there is no continuos shot option, the screen is not as user friendly either, no macro video.. They made up for the things that made it a great contender for the slrs camera.. Now it's just a point and shoot for real..
