Here is an old pic taken with my Canon XSi and the 100mm lense. Shot in AV mode and adjusted the F stop to get the depth right as well as the AV to get the brightness. Some of my first macro's after just getting the camera so i didn't know what i was doing.

Rick, you are probably right. But even when I use AV & super macro I don't get pics with that much detail.

Rainbow Blasto macro. Taken with the 60mm. Midway from opening back up after being moved.

Piece of bonsai that is growing back. Didn't know i had redbugs till i started taking pictures. Also with the 60mm.
