It has an aquarium and an underwater mode. Under scenes when you turn the dial. The underwater mode seems to work better under my lights (20K + blue T5's). For best results you'll probably want to set the white balance manually though.

any camera you get that has macro mode and you can zoom in one mill will take awesome pics you can get right into the head on the acan or zoas

i have G9. great camera. but when it comes to options id go with rebel XTI. a little more expensive, but by far more professional imo.

I ended up buying the G9, and have not looked back.

After having DSLR's , I wanted something that I would not mind carrying around and so the G9 is that camera. Great camera. The new G10 is good also, however it does not have all the G9 features (hd video clips...) which I have come to rely on.

Here's a couple shots from my G9. I would recommend getting the underwater housing for macro shots. It's hard to get close enough for macro shots without it.

yes the underwater housing is great. I've been thinking of getting an Icon strobe for my housing just haven't gotten around to the purchase.
