Yeah, how come everyone else seems to have this aqua-scaping thing down except for me?! I cant get anything to look good!!! ARGH!
Maybe getting into this hobby was a bad idea; maybe I am destined to be predisposed to crappyness and bad luck... *sigh* :(
By the way, where did you get such an awesome-looking gorgonian?! That thing is crazy-cool!
Beautiful tank, though I say so through clenched teeth but for my obvious ineptitude...!

It'll happen for you DewrGleision, it just may take a few tanks for you to get it :) . I'm never happy with my aquascaping, but I get props from everyone that views them. Venture out, check others tanks, stores (drive down to the Bay Area and check out the numerous LFS display tanks), watch reef related videos and look at any reef picture you can. With enough emersion, the ideas will flow.

I dont mean to come across as rude, but that sounds like something someone from Santa Cruz would say! Most of my teachers came from UCSC; bunch of crazy bastards! Theyre the reason I got screwed over in some of my weaker subjects! Grrrr... By the way, if you ever see a guy named Chris Wardlaw, sock him for me!
Anywho, you still didnt tell me what that gorgonian is! I think I really want one now! WHere do you get your stuff from, besides the Bay Area?
Thanks for the encouragement though!

Wow, :? ok, I guess I shouldn't post encouragements any longer if this is what i'm going to get back. Lumping me in with friggin UCSC is FIGHTING WORDS  . Wanna step outside wine man? BTW, I'm not from SC, I just live there. You need to gain some more world expereince, if you think all people are the same in every town. Check my posting history, you'll see I'm not your typical Santa Cruz dirt loving tree hugging hippy UCSC student. Belive it or not, I grew up HATING UCSC and its students.

I don't shop outside my facility, so the Bay Area is extremelly accurate, we're located in San Carlos (got some comment about San Carlos? ).

Common red finger gorgonian (Diodogorgia nodulifera) from the Atlantic ocean. Shouldn't be to hard to aquire, its one of the most plentiful gorgonians in the trade.

Whoa, wait a second; I think you and I are actually thinking the same things! UCSC sucks! Im with you on that one!
And cmon'; I knnow that was a blanket assumption, because I know people from SC hate that kind of statement! LOL! (Double Entrende' there, for the slow... ) Wine Man?! A cunning witty retort by an equally cunning logicist! Looks like were both in the same boat, saying the same things, except one of us is getting pissed off!
And by the way; speaking of "world expirience" (your whole post was so oxymoronic that I think a parallel universe opened up inside my brain sucked out my sanity!), not all UCSC students are dirt loving, tree hugging hippies! Alot of them (most, actually) are pot-smoking, mentally unstable, self-proclaiming purist-individualists who think they hold the answers to the worlds problems to boot! (Theyre worse than you think!). How about the ones who are intelligent enough to hack and download whole, unreleased movies from the net, yet cant seem to give a damn about their lesson plan for a basic algebra class they happen to be teaching--out of desperate need for teachers--at MY old highschool! Insane!
Also, "lumpin' you in" is easy enough; the UC and the related morons make up basically the whole town; trust me. I know SC's demographics well enough!
On a more final note, the most bizare thing about your whole mental expectoration was that you actually came across as less intelligent than your typical UCSC student; growing up hating students from a UC, pushing the bill with un-warrented retaliations, protagonizing the whole "stereotype obsession", and playing into your own alarming misinterpretation with the San Carlos thing!
Peace, man! 8) No war here!

Another anomally I just have to point out... In the post you quoted me on, did you ever notice me actually targeting you with a UCSC label? Sure, I said

I dont mean to come across as rude, but that sounds like something someone from Santa Cruz would say!

But were you included in

Most of my teachers came from UCSC; bunch of crazy bastards! Theyre the reason I got screwed over in some of my weaker subjects! Grrrr... By the way, if you ever see a guy named Chris Wardlaw, sock him for me!

...? Sorry Atilla the Dumb, you still have no justification for exploding!
And hey! You still havent agreed to sock that guy Chris for me! How inconsiderate!

Like I said, peace! No conflicts here; I agree with you on UCSC!
