Oh crap, sorry! Forgot about the ID; yeah, I asked about it elsewhere... I cant really have because A) Im afraid of it getting out of hand and growing everywhere, and my fish nipping at it could be a problem, and B) Im doing purely Indo-Pacific for this project.
Too bad; theyre beautiful and they add a different dimention that corals dont often attain. Thats why I thought the tank looked so cool with the way you aquascaped your rocks; that gorgonian just kinda completes the whole scene, except maybe for a few bare spots here and there that are easily filled, Im assuming.

Thats the other thing; surfdawake, how do you manage all this and are still just a sophomore?! I mean, Im a senior, and its bloody hard enough for me!

Im not letting you off until either of you guys agrees to incite some physical violence on Dungeons and Dragons nerds in SC! They are acid people; I know, I was one of them! They deserve public floggings for the way they treat others, so Im calling on anyone living in Santa Cruz to do their part and punch a nerd! :P

...Something tells me I can anticipate the next post here...

Theres plenty of indo pacific gorgonians, even ones that look very similiar to that one. My library is back at the shop, I'll post some names wed. morning when I get in. As for them getting outa hand, don't worry about that, they don't grow all that quick (and if they do, frag them, they lend themsleves to that very nicely). A few do, but they have a much thicker body and they're not as branchy. What fish do you have?

Can we please refrain from the insults and keep things civil? It looks like we're slowly getting back on track in this thread, and I appreciate it.

Thanks.

Sounds like something somebody from Indy would say. Always wanting things "on track." Like, what, can't think of anything but the 500?

:P

The 500? Oh is that that race that screws up traffic around here for a few days every year? I don't see the point in driving around in circles for 4 hrs. ;-) :P

Same here- BUSY as the s word we're not s'posed to say. This thread needed a good hijacking, so...

REALLY busy! Work's been nuts- I have been interviewing potential new hires. I'm taking 2 4-credit night classes which take up way too much time. I'm about to sign a contract for building a new house. I am getting my house ready to sell (which is a MAJOR friggin' project- replacing ceiling tiles, painting, carpeting, CLEANING, yard work, etc.). My parents are coming to visit from NC for a whole damn week. I'm having surgery next Wednesday. My sister gets married in three weeks. And in four weeks Teresa and I are off to Europe.

Top that?

I'm gonna be a dad. Do I win? ;) Shhh, it's supposed to be a secret this time though, at least until we're a bit further along.

What're you having surgery for? Hopefully nothing serious!!!
Where in europe are you going???? I wish I could come! Kel's been a couple times on business and is dying to take me to Italy to take photos. All spending has been cut back though. Ahh well, it's worth it! :-D

Well congratulations, Mr. Wikman!! Good for you, buddy, that's great. Got a due date?

You would win, except for when you get one child, I get two stepchildren. So I'm not sure I can just give that to ya as a freebie. ;)

Oh, and don't worry- as long as we keep it in the photo forum, none of the ugly nerds will hear your little secret. :D

Italy is my favorite. Just an awesome country with so much to offer. This time, we're going to France, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, and London. Should be spectacular!

Yeah... I wonder how damn slow they are, though. Ya know? Get about 800 photos on there, and see how fast you can flip through them. 8O

Welp! I signed the offer! Building commences soon, move in date September 15. :)

HD, I've been to the Hofbräu in München and it is the best beer ever. Be sure to get a good wurst with it too.

John, congrats!
