Bank robberies are common in Metro Manila, Philippines and it's fashionable districts like here in Makati City. Bank Guards are part concierge, part greeter and part soldier. Close comraderie and proud display of their firepower is a trademark of the security forces that risk their lives every single day.

Here is a picture of a storm rolling in while I was out on the lake in Minoqua, WI. Now, I know that this pic isn't as great as everyone else's, but I still thought it looked cool.

Cool, Shark! I have a place in Minocqua- I was just there this past weekend. Not a cloud in the sky, though. 8)

Might toss a picture up here of the HUGE northern pike (maybe 2 lbs )I caught when I get my camera back.

Here you go HD, it's a pic of the muskie that my room mate's Dad caught while we were up there for the weekend. It was probably his 5th cast out there and he got it. :D We put it back of course.

1) select - color range - (pick dark area) fuzzyness 100

2) select - modify - contract - 3pixels (varies, this is the size for this small image)

3) New layer - levels - adjust as wanted to change forground info (input 0,1.22,90 ... utput 11,255)

4) (with adjustment layer selected) filter, blur, gausian blur 3 pixels (varies, but usualy the same number as in step 2) - this smooths the adjustment

using this same technique, and playing with color balance, I also 'tweaked' the sky.

changed picture below
