These shrimp are great! I got these from Dom a while back to feed my lionfish and get him to start eating..worked great. The Lionfish loved them, then i gave my lionfish to Noelskii who later on killed the fish.... :(

For the people putting them in to feed aggressive fish CAUTION! These shrimp jump out of the tank so if u feed wait till they are eaten. If you leave them in the tank with aggressive fish they will jump out if not eaten right away.....

Dom when my fish comes in...i want to purchase some.....they make a good clean up crew....

Dom i apologize for noelskii hijacking your thread but a responsible reefer knows that fish in general jump and should have a top on the tank...HE KILLED that poor lionfish with his lack of knowledge. Back to topic.....

Hmmm... anybody have these guys in the sump? I think one guy got into my skimmer... given that I see him in the Skimmer body in half... -_-

If you are going to keep live fish and inverts in your sump you should have your intake covered for your skimmer feed pump. If you don't, you are asking for trouble. There should be no way a shrimp of that size should be able to get sucked into the pump. What if a snail or something else that is smaller gets sucked in? You can ruin the propeller within the pump. Fish would be killed as well. Even if you don't plan on keeping fish in your sump you would probably be upset if one of your expensive fish got into the overflow and drained into the sump and you found it stuck against the intake on the pump dead.

Just a tip :wink1:

I didn't think anything would get in the skimmer. But .... yea some of these shrimp certainly did, it's weird I think some of them cooked too because... they turned into that red color like when we eat shrimp
