I have owned a macbook pro for the last 6 months and im still pretty lost.


I want to run bootcamp and install windows xp [service pack 2], vista or windows 7.. I dont know what to do at all. can anyone explain it too me?

or help me get a windows cd ?

[im trying to use bootcamp to play an online game.

An online game, or a PC game online?
Be careful before you waste your time, your mac may not have the graphics card to play the game you want and you might be wasting your time.
Also, if I have to run anything in windows (I prefer not to), I don't want to have to boot up. I'd rather run a VM (see VMWare Fusion or Parallels)

Depends on the game he's trying to run on his MBP. VMWare Fusion will only support DirectX 9.0 Shader Model 2 and below games... if he's running a DirectX 10 game, he'll need to dual boot (BootCamp) WinXP/Vista or Win7. I'm not aware of any virtualization platform that can pass thru DX10 when I checked a few months back...
