I was talking to a delivery guy last night and he was saying in Brooklyn, people follow around delivery guys then when they go inside a building, snap the locks on the bike and jack them.

Not worth going through insurance for so little. Assistant da called me today. They are going to offer him a plea bargain, 1 year mandatory jail time that's IF he can make restitution which is highly unlikely. If he can't and probably won't make restitution it's going to be longer.

Wow the cops were there in 10 minutes ? And caught the guy there's no way that could have been NYPD their response time is much longer than that although I hope I'm wrong cause that would mean they're improving and that would at least make me feel like the ridiculous tax hikes are doing something

The cops were here in 2 mins 14 seconds after alarm went off. I'm right down the block from precinct. This area Is cop central

the 114Pct which covers Astoria is one of the busier queens pct it's safe to say that each sector probably handles between 15-25 jobs per tour.
according to crime statistics they ARE doing a good job

that doesn't take into account that on any given tour, roll call may have 6-10 sectors scheduled for patrol but in reality on 4 wind up on patrol because of manpower needs like details required for presidential visits, demonstrations, increased security for possible terroirst attacks that are not made public, court appearances, AAB appearances, CCRB appearances etc...

but the good points we can even multi task.. I was able to write a summons eat my donut and drink my coffee at the same time!

your right..... but your wrong. He crawled in to the store through the hole in the glass, and he had to get out, so he crawled out so thats why the glass hanging pulled outside
