I don't remember the VR shooting game...

I loved those funny episodes! They really made the show a lot better like you said.

btw- do you remember how the series 'ended'? Did it even have a real ending? I know they had a movie, but I foget how it went now- did that have an ending? I had thought they were supposed to have another movie- to finish things- but it looks like they never got around to it...

To tel you the truth, I stopped watching after Mulder left. I didn't like it the new character

Im actually just about to hunker down and watch all 3 LOTR movies WITH the extended bonus scenes.

Anyone read the book? I got halfway into the last book, but I lost the book on the airplane . The book knocks the socks off the movie

i've read it 3 or 4 times- if you like it and want to get into it a little more, read the similrillion and some of his other books. its pretty amazing how involved Tolkien made his 'world'- he was a linguist and even created the elven language- you could actually learn it if you wanted too (no i am not that big of a dork...)

Also The Dragon Reborn series by Robert Jordan- same as above, in fact both series are pretty similar (but the draw you in- I can't stop reading them...)

I read that series, but got so discouraged with Robert Jordan. First he writes too slow, I started reading that 10 years ago. Then with the later books, all I can say is that they SUCK compared to the earlier ones. By the time he comes out with a new book I have completely forgotton the whole story.

BTW is the stupid series over yet, maybe I can begin reading them again (I was up to book 10! :banghead: ).

Within the last year I'd say I have discovered SG1 and I have to say it is a good show. Battlestar is still my favorite TV show. NOTHING will ever beat Star Wars.

No the Robert Jordan books havent gotten any better Might as well skip the last two. Nothing happens in either one. The first ones were so great and the last ones are such a disappointment. I honestly hope the last battle happens soon and brings the series to an end!

talk about an old thread! i hate reading stuff i wrote long ago:redface:

i am VERY excited for the last season of BSG, last season left off with such a big bang... i can't wait to see what they come up with now.

can't believe its the last season thou, i suppose the show could have drawn on longer, but i prefer story based shows like b5 that have a beginning middle and end...
