for instance i went to upstate NY a month or 2 back to go quadding with alot of friends, and the neigbors of the peopertly all call us "jersey f***ers". and call us tourists and ect... and that we dont know how to live in the outdoors. are you SERIOUS!!!! my back yard has a quick walk way to the fricken Appalachian trail. JERSEY is woods woods and...woods. bear, deer, squirrels, rabbits ect... come on.

If thats the case why do you have to go to upstate NY to go quadding?

Also if your from jersey you are a tourist in NY if coming here to have fun just as I would be if I was in Jersey, BUT after seeing the show I see what Jersey people are really like and I choose to stay in NY. Thank God for Jersey Shore for enlightening me on the way Jersey is LOL(j/k with the last comment by the way, for all the jersey peeps that may think Im serious).

Only reason I even chimed in is youve been complaining forever as stated about the show since last season. Im from NY everyone that knows the show knows theyre NY transplants during where theyre filming it. I mean hell your Governor made it known to whoever didnt know the other day. They if anything to me give New Yorkers a bad rep, but I don't care theyre funny. Lets be honest Ryan- the Jersey shore has had that EXACT reputation for ages 6 or 7 guidos from NY didnt set that in stone Jersey did.

What about that new show Jerseylicious about the hairdressers in that salon- theyre all jersey girls born and raised, serving customers alcohol in the salon because theyre in a bachelorette party, complaining about the customers that pay them good money and wanting to beat the snot out of each other. No NY'ers givin Jersey a bad name there-only a bunch of foulmouthed Jersey girls.:tongue1:

There is no doubt this look is all over Staten Island. And it is all over now. But it has been very regional. This is more than spikey hair and a spray tan. South Beach had spikey hair, real tans and much better cubs for decades but not like this. I know because I used to live there and I used to be there every Friday night with my crew on Ocean Drive.
What I'm saying is growing up gotti, got this crap on TV and people watched it. MTV is merely incorporated this look with the real world to see who would actually watch it.

The only other media coverage of this has been Internet memes.

Well today I have learned Jimmy is a HUGE fan of all shows with the name "Jersey" in them LOLLLLLL

The only reason anyone watches ANY of these "Reality" shows is for the chicks. Every single show has hot broads running around in skimpy outfits and getting drunk and starting a fight. What could be more entertaining than that? It just goes to show how loved it really is in this country when every show is the same plus or minus a few stupid details. Whether they are housewives,hair dressers,flight atendants,waitresses or cess pool pumpers if they are 1/2 way decent looking and 1/2 naked we will watch it. Cable TV is like one big supermarket of flesh and there is a blue light special on breasts and thighs!

Actually I stop as Im flipping through channels and see something new I stop and see what it is- I can care less about the titles I saw an episode well about 15 minutes of one of the hairdressers. Im more amazed that they give certain people shows. Reality tv is great in ways but I also believe the world would be a better place if the Real World was never made and would have delayed reality tv hitting mainstream by a decade.

Although I think it hurts the Kids today to see this its queit the thing for the people/ kids being paid to party on TV and become somewhat a celeb. This is a major problem today. Rap being the #1 problem for kids growing up.
