Great kills beach gave up over a 100 blue in the last 3 days and 28 strippers according to a friend of mine that fish there religiously 12hr days.. I got 8 blues last night in the crazy wind storm everything over 25" biggest was 36"..

LOL...Still a monster. If it wasn't abnormally thin, that fish should have went over 20lbs!

There was a 53" bass caught right off the beach this week also..

I know few friends own a boat but timing always a problem! and this thread got me hooked again so i went with my friend to Atlantic highlands in NJ today, had a great time even tho I didnt catch anything but happy for my friend(sam) got one and won.

sorry Steve, bad day to pull u out. I was worry that you wouldd get discourage and say no more fishing. Very glad u still in to fishing, gofind ur gears, you'll probably be much better of than my crappy ones. Lol

it would be nice if we can charter a party boat out just MR guys and ladies if there is any.

they have a place hampton dive in riverhead... thats where i got my license. it was quick and easy

Google SCUBA shops in long island, there should be quite a few, and most will have or know a place that has classes that may be closer to you.
