wow u got to remove alot of stuff on the s4 i can do it in 7 hrs in a shop with lift and stuff 250 plus parts is very cheap =)

i didnt say 250 for the s4 thats for a honda.. lol i said a lil more for the s4 just didnt say how much more..lol

Im pretty good working on audis, I could probably do most of that stuff for you.

6thave, it all depends on what theyre actually doing for the "sludge" problem... thee f.p. is a good price at 400, tbelt is right on the money for shop time.. and the ps leak depends on what theyre fixing.. when i do shop work(for a reg customer) i get 92$ flat rate i got by the mitchell labor guide.. u have to to run a business.. when i take care of friends,and the come to my house with a 6 pack, i usually go 500 for the day.. so whatever we can get done in a day plus parts.. its pretty fair and i do work pretty damn fast, worked in a dealer on the line for many years, producing 65-85 hrs a week..

I've never been a fan of german designs... reverse thread bolts instest of lug nuts. A pain to ling up and screw it w/o the possibility of cross threading...junk. lol but I do like driving bmw,s

Reverse and floating grounds doesnt even SOUND right, sounds like the heads of the companies are all in an asylum somewhere in a padded room with crayons so they cant stab each other and drawing on note pads designing wiring systems for the latest and greatest- LOL

oh its crazy the wiring on all these cars.. when i was with chrysler and we picked up the wirind esigns from dymler(cant spell) which is basically mercedes, all the wiring got so bizzare and complicated... airbag systems with all the crazy wiring and dual speed deployment.. gets crazy as hell..self park, self adjusting headlights brake controls if you get to close to the car in front of you, heads up displays oh yea and dont forget abt the bluetooth headsets for the kisd so they can watch their own tv's...

I used to do car installations sometimes i still do lol but i hate doing the star push remote starters on all the new cars they are a pain in the ass hate it i will charge about 3 extra hrs of labor just to do a remote starter on any car with push start

yea, i did a few.. never again, expecially with a chipped key having to make the customer spend a hundred or more on another key just to plug into the unit..

I love german cars, nothing like it. But they are a pita to work on thats for sure. Let me refrase that actually the only german cars I like are audi and porsche everything else is junk to me.

I have to disagree with the audi that car to me is junk poorly made is the us the audi in Germany are built good the ones made for the us are junk . I work on alot of bmw and mercedes and the elect on those cars are not that bad to work on bmw is crazy with all those modulas bot not bad .Mercedes only uses sam modulas a front and rear thats it . Its a pretty simple system . Well to me that is.
