Jarret, It's not uncommon for dogs to shed excessively during this time of the year. A lot of times they are just shedding their winter coat which is alot thicker than their regular coat too help keep them warm. There is a Vitamin pill that they claim works, It's for the dogs skin and reduces shedding. It definitely seemed to work with my girlfriends Yellow lab. I told her to stop because i brush and bath the dog regularly and didn't think any additives were necessary on a growing puppy, but it did seem too help. Ill try to get you the name when i speak to her.

Keep on top of brushing the animals and getting them bathed and prepare to vacuum a few times a day and possibly restrict them from the kids room and playroom until the baby grows an immunity too any possible allergies.

lol although some dog groomers will shave any breed i wouldn't even think about shaving the dog man. Those dogs are really prone to skin conditions and that would be about the worst thing you could do. That coat keeps them cool and protects them from the sun.

I was a barber in high school and then started doing dog grooming for around 3 years at my cousins place.
