Ive always believed and practiced in my new tanks- last one being a 10 gallon with a 2 gallon sump that peeing in the tank is the best way to introduce levels of ammonia to start the nitrogen cycle. Plus it warms the water to a nice temp. when you do it.

and to kill two birds with one stone....you should be drinking straight vodka....so you can carbon dose the tank at the same time:wink1:

I ALWAYS pee in my tank..fastest way to get an amonia spike and it also turns the water a more natural "sea green" it's WAY better for the fish and makes them feel more at home like they never left the ocean..they are SO happy in my new 5 gallon..all 25 of them =]

well I didn't say I peed green I said it turns the water a "sea green" which would be a more yellow anyway, obviously the ocean is not green..just like the ocean isn't blue it has to do ith reflection off the bottom of the ocean smartypants..i'm coming over and peeing in your tank
