i grew up in queens. there weren't any drive-in's around.
but i do remember getting really stone (by second hand smoke) coming out of a cheech and chong movies. since it was a cheap way to get stone..... i think i went to every cheech and chong movies in the 80's.....lol.

hey russ, we're talking about drive-in with cars....not horse drawn carriage your generation seems to love....usually max out at 4-6 horsepower....lol.:lol2:
i lived in long island city before moving to bayside....we didn't have a car until then. perhaps that's why i didn't know about whitestone drive-in. i know about the fort totten's....ahemmm ....drive-in and park though:bunnies:.....you know what i'm talking about?

and dont forget the candy smokes for us!!! they were the best!!!
also people now are soooooo worried abt their kids getting hurt with toys.. when we were kids we had wood burning kits with a 3ft cord so when you pluged it in you were sitting righ next to the curtains.. or got burned bad!!! but it was cool..
my sister had one of those easy bake ovens with the super hot light bulb in it and well i stuck my hand in it to see how hot...
anyone wonder y i became a firefighter? or what goes on in a firefighters head when he was a kid..well here you go!!! hahaha
