I have lost 55 lbs since June. I only drink water with the exception of my 2 cups of coffee per day. I switched my eating habits to smaller portions nd I run on a treadmill almost every day. Also try to get stress. It seriously helps you drops the lbs. Trust me.

I have been dieting since January of last year. I have lost 40bls. But i also work out 3 times a week and gaining a lot of muscle. The trick is to truly want to lose the weight. I also quit smoking 2 years ago.

Stress isn't good for you in any way at all. But besides just drinking water and eating smaller portions you have to eat the right foods. A lot of veggies some fruits and chicken is good but grilled or baked and whole grains only.

I cut down my portions & carefully measure everything. Also eliminated bad snacks. I'll grab an apple or an orange when I do. I'm always satisfied after a meal and lost 21 pounds since 1/4/10. I'm also doing light workouts. Still haven't quit smoking yet though. That's for after I hit my goal.

You just need to find out how many calories you need to sustain your current weight, then decrease it by 400-500 calories. And cut down on carbs.

If you never work out, you will still lose weight via the above method. Running will make you lose it faster.

The only thing, you need to look into the things you eat often. Sometimes they arent as good for you as you think.

make sure that you are also at times indulging in some of the things you use to enjoy that you cut from your diet. Dont go completely strict, you will eventually lose the weight and when thats over you will gain it all back double.
i've been there done that my weight always fluctuates 20 pounds 150-170.

I'm going on a diet now and working out, make sure you cut out all the snacking. I'm sure since i stopped im gona lose atleast 5 lbs from that lol :)

The formula to success they say is set you Ideal body weight and multiply it by 10. That is supposed to be the amount of calories your body needs to maintain or achieve the new weight. So if you wanna weigh say 100lbs you would intake 1000 calories for thr day 150lbs = 1,500 calories and so on. They have to be good calories and not junk.

I went on a $$$ diet and I love it!
First, you stop going out (eating junk) and bing drinking.
Second, you start buying protein shakes (expensive, I know) instead of Pax, BK, McDs etc.
Third, you eat whatever you want at home (limiting bread, cookies and sweets though, LIMITING, not excluding!)
The above did amazing thing for me: my networth started to grow and my belly shrinking! My GF told me there is half of me now from what was before.
Oh, and pick-up running - 3-4 times per week about 1/2-1 M do wonders to your figure!
Once you see the results you can allow yourself to go out once a week and have a beer or two, but no more than that in one week.

Let me toss a few numbers on you then.
Here you go:
You need to intake 1 gramm of protein per day per pound of your muscle mass. Use the body fat analyzers to get the percentages and weights. Then calculate needed protein intake. Remember you can't gulp up more than 40 Gramms of protein per serving as any excess of 40 gramms will be wasted!
Good luck and yes - no more than 2 beers / week when on a $$$ diet!
