I dont agree. They OWN the site. if they dont like you for ANY reason, they have a right to ban you. Giving you a warning is more than they owe you.

Sorry to hear about that Skimmerman ... but RC does have that reputation ... LOTS of people are banned for the stupidest of reasons (i think breathing incorrectly counts as one of them ... lol) ... that goes pretty much for all of the LARGE sites ... with many members ... they can't be nice to everyone. Makes you appreciate the fact that MR doesn't crack down on it's members unless it's really deserved.

Its probably because its bad for business. Perhaps the forum mods there are tied into various markets where they morry they'll stand to lose of one thing happens or another. Or if opinions detrimental to their interests are expressed and they attract attention. I had bumped heads several times with one or two particular people at a previous forum. All I was doing was sharing the success and effectiveness of a certain method/concept and these 2 particular guys, without fail, would go all nutty on me inexplicably. As others responded that it made alot of sense, well done, this n that. I found myself in a whole world of unnecissary bs over it and all I am is an enthusiastic aquarist, not someone trying to make all kinds of sales.

Whereever you go there will be people in high places protecting their interests. So its rare to find a truley openminded place to share and explore this ever evolving trade. However I will have to make it a point to research the rules better here, maybe see what RC is all about see what kind of stuff they prohibit. Of course my intention in either place would never be to cause problems for anyone. Just to delve into the fascinating world of propagation and marine ecosystem replication.
