hey steve, I'd rather find a condo if i can. less down, and not all the restrictions of a coop.

there is a place in the market in park slope... 1 bdrm, 750 sq ft but a gut job... now it is on the park... 1 bdrm, 350k...

well I know from some slight experience if your looking for your very first place a nice apt for like a year or to would be good but then stop wasting your money and buy a house. And my gf's dad told me never buy the nicest house on the block. Buy a decent fixter up er and make money when you sell. I just bought my first house and for the first month-3 or 4 it sucks but once its all said and done you'll be happy. and the that first morgage check always sucks too lol

sounds promising, if i could find a gut job for 290ish that would be better.
are you making an offer?
I still want to look downtown first, but I do like park slope.
