Top Ten - Funniest thing you have heard in a fish store!

Post here some of the funniest things you have heard, do not name the LFS.

This is NOT an opportunity to bash LFSs.

We all know LFSs have trouble attracting and keeping talented staff. We also know that there are a lot of customers who like to dish out bad advice at the LFS to strangers.

This is not for complaining about service, just a place to share some humor! LFS owners, feel free to dish on some strange customer requests!

Here is mine:

"Oh, that's a Branching Acan, it's new, they just came out with it."

It most certainly did sometime in the late '90's or there abouts. needless to say the shop is no longer in business. The funny thing is, I had been to the place several times and they weren't a bad shop, so its not like they had anything to hide. The owner was just :splitspin

Going in to a store ask what's the name of this fish the lady stated well i don't no
come back on monday ask my son he would no so you go back on monday the same lady was there you said i am here to ask you son what the name of that fish so with that been said i walk up to the lady son and said your mother told me to ask you what's the name of this fish the son look at his mother and said mom look on the paper and see that the name of this fish the lady said hold it up let me see it the lady said oh!!! it a gold fish.....
