If anyone is interested in buying my Bike its up for sale its a 2005 Suzuki Hyabusa has less then 3000 miles on it. Brand new Exhaust Power Commander 3 custom mapped on a Dyno. Also has a trottle lock. Very nice very fast bike. garage kept. If you are thinking of getting a bike PM me. Also please dont be a beginner rider this bike is for seasoned vets only. I would not feel comfortable allowing someone new to buy it as it is well known as the widow maker.

I used to ride sport bikes and still can but I just rather not. I once hit the belt at over 140mph ( Easy Chief :shhh:long time ago I was young) around the verrazano A few miles later around coney island in deep traffic and at about 15mph A guy decided to switch lanes nothing major happened I lost a signal, but it just sat in my mind that I was just running those speeds and from Manhattan to brooklyn my back would kill me... So after a few years I had to saddle up again and I brought this, nothing has ever felt better. It's night and day as far as cornering and acceleration but the comfort and safety is a good trade -off .

great thread I currently hold in my stable :
2000 HD night train-- SS 1900 cc stoked motor with everything in it you can imagine , after bending the flywheels at the last fireman memorial run the nitrous was removed and installed on my scooter (more on that later) I got this bike new and have rebuilt the motor 3 times it has seen the race track alot but now that the south hampton track closed I don't race it anymore I have changed tire sizes 3 times currently running a 200 and yes I had to cut the frame here's a video of a wheelie its pretty short but it was at the breast cancer run Lots of police and too many people around cant push the limits http://www.myspace.com/wheeliekingofastoria
this bike has seen over 60,000 miles don't know exact # broke 2 speedometers and 7 speedometer sensors (harley finally upgraded the sensors thank god $75 each)
I also have a 2005 road king 1550cc big bore , heads,cams, exhaust,baby apes
And one of my favorite a 2003 yamaha zuma those little scooters with the headlights that look like bug eyes , big bore , performance carb, exhaust, clutch, variator the nitrous came of this also after blowing the piston out of the motor on the grand central but its rebuilt with the best Italian parts (polini) and you gotta see the wheelies on this thing you can wheelie all day and nothing breaks well nothing except the time I ended up under a parked suv but thats a long story
I have had many sport bikes but kinda pulled myself away from them when I got married and had kids . Its not getting old that caused this I was only 17 when I got married and had kids just thought i would calm down on harleys but I guess not
You might catch me at Astoria park if not you'll here about me

Nice bikes guys. I use to have the Shadow 1100 also. But without the wind visor. I tried riding it up from NC to NJ. Had a very uncomfortable ride do to no wind visor.. Its a good workout fighting the wind. I eventually got traded it in. But it was a good bike just not my cup of tea.
